KiaiUnbelievaBoat Integration
UnbelievaBoat is a common economy bot for Discord servers. Kiai can integrate with it to give members currency as a level-up reward.
Make Sure UnbelievaBoat Is in Your Server
For this integration to work, UnbelievaBoat must be in your server. Learn more about UnbelievaBoat and get the invite link on their website.
Authorize Kiai
After you add UnbelievaBoat to your server, authorize Kiai to make changes to your economy. This lets Kiai give money to your members.
UnbelievaBoat requires the person who authorizes the application to have the Administrator permission. Authorize Kiai here: https://unbelievaboat.com/applications/authorize?app_id=871968895648794818
Kiai only requires the "Access and edit this server's economy" permission.
Add the Money Reward
After you complete this setup, use the /rewards add money command to give members money for reaching a level. Kiai checks that UnbelievaBoat is in your server and authorized before it lets you create the reward. See Introduction to Rewards for the full list of reward types.
The options for this command are:
- Amount: The amount of money the member receives.
- Level: The level at which the reward is given.
- Bank: Whether the money goes to the member's bank or cash balance. Cash can be stolen by other members; bank money cannot. This option takes a True/False value.
- Required Role: An optional role. If set, a member must already hold this role to receive the reward.
If your UnbelievaBoat authorization is later revoked or changed, existing money rewards stop paying out until you reauthorize Kiai.
