Kiai Basics

Kiai turns activity into progress. As members stay active in your server, they earn XP and move up the leaderboard.

Core Concepts

  • Experience Points (XP) Members earn XP by sending messages, joining voice chats, or reacting to messages.

  • Levels A member's level rises as they earn more XP.

  • Rewards You can set roles, perks, or other bonuses that a member unlocks at a given level.

  • Leaderboards A leaderboard ranks your most active members and adds friendly competition.

What Is a Leveling System?

A leveling system turns member activity into visible progress. Members earn XP for their activity, and Kiai tracks this progress over time.

How It Works

  1. Participate. Send messages, join voice channels, and take part in your community.
  2. Earn XP. Kiai awards XP for this activity.
  3. Level up. XP adds up and raises the member's level.
  4. Unlock rewards. A new level can grant roles, perks, or other recognition.

Why Leveling Matters

A leveling system shows members that their activity counts. This can motivate members to stay active and take part more often.

Kiai supports several ways to earn XP, including messages, voice activity, reactions, XP streaks, and XP drops. This gives you more options than most other leveling bots.
